Leticia Ferreras Astorqui is Head of Development Finance at Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI), where she leads the firm’s development finance activities focused on mobilizing institutional capital for emerging markets. Leticia joined AllianzGI in 2020 to help expand the firm’s emerging markets investment capabilities through development finance strategies. She has played a leading role in the fundraising and deployment of credit-enhanced emerging market strategies and led the structuring and launch of the Allianz Credit Emerging Markets (ACE) strategy, AllianzGI’s third blended finance debt fund.

Prior to joining AllianzGI, Leticia worked at Macquarie Capital, focusing on principal investments in energy projects across Latin America. Earlier in her career, she was part of MUFG Union Bank’s Project Finance team in New York, where she worked on infrastructure and energy transactions across the Americas.

Leticia holds a degree in International Political Economy from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also completed Georgetown’s Karl F. Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy.
