As a Content Associate, Paroma supports Convergence’s data and intelligence efforts, including curating original blended finance knowledge, and conducting research and analysis for case studies, data briefs and thematic articles. Paroma has over 4 years of experience as a public policy consultant in India, where she advised members of Parliament, public sector units and non-profits on budget allocation, social welfare program management and legislative policy. She has worked across various thematic areas of development including education, labour and migrant rights, skills training and e-governance. Prior to joining Convergence, Paroma was a structured finance lawyer. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, with a special focus on innovative social finance, and a Bachelor of Laws from National Law School of India University.
