Catherine You is a Manager supporting the Market Acceleration & Design Funding team. Catherine brings over 10 years of experience across philanthropy, international development, and social enterprise. Prior to Convergence, Catherine worked as a consultant supporting philanthropic organizations to develop and operationalize effective approaches to achieve positive social impact. This includes projects in process improvement, monitoring and evaluation, and embedding empathy in grantmaking. Catherine has spent significant time working on agricultural development and economic development projects across 14 countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Catherine began her career working at EY, and early in her career completed the On Purpose Fellowship program.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo, and has obtained the Project Management Professional certification.
