From 10-13 October Convergence will be at SOCAP17, the world's leading impact investing conference that takes place annually in San Francisco. We will be hosting a plenary session in the Southside Theatre from 12:15-1:15 pm, on Thursday 12 October, titled: Mind the Gap: How to Achieve the SDGs with Blended Finance. The session will bring together diverse actors from the blended finance landscape to explore how blended finance deals are made and what makes them work.

Joan will also be speaking in a blended finance session hosted by Investment Network member Rare, titled: Beyond Energy: Blended Finance and Impact Investing in Underserved Natural Capital Markets. This session will take place in the Firehouse from 12-1:00pm, on Wednesday 11 October.
