London, United Kingdom, June 22, 2026 - Today on the sidelines of London Climate Action Week, Convergence announces the second edition of its Global Blended Finance Forum.
The second edition of the Forum will take place in 2027 from May 17-18, in London, UK, and will bring together leaders from across the public, private, and philanthropic sectors to advance solutions for mobilizing capital toward sustainable development in emerging markets. The Forum is held biennially.
The Forum comes at a critical moment as we see a historic decline in official development assistance amid global volatility. It is now more important than ever to bring blended finance experts together to explore how it can evolve to meet growing global financing needs.
Convergence hosted its inaugural Forum in 2025 in Washington D.C. to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The Forum brought together a wide spectrum of nearly 300 blended finance practitioners from 37 different countries to share insights, discuss market trends, and break down silos, with an aim towards defining the next decade of blended finance.
Building on the success of the inaugural Forum, the 2027 Global Blended Finance Forum will similarly provide a space for a diversity of voices on blended finance, with a focus on networking and interactive sessions to facilitate discussion and connection between participants.
