Blending with Technical Assistance (America/Europe/Africa)

09 Jun 20 -

Registration closed. This seminar is at full capacity.

Blending with Technical Assistance is a 2.5-hour (150 minutes) interactive seminar that will cover:

  • How Technical Assistance is used in blended finance transactions;
  • How Technical Assistance can de-risk investments and strengthen development impact;
  • Case studies and trend analysis on the use of Technical Assistance in blended finance transactions; and
  • Recommendations to practitioners on deploying Technical Assistance efficiently.

Technical Assistance is a versatile development tool that can be deployed to mobilize additional sources of finance for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The use of grant-funded technical assistance facilities can strengthen commercial viability and developmental impact. Technical Assistance can be vital to support project preparation, project implementation, and the broader business and policy environment.

This is the second seminar in our four-part seminar series “A Closer Look at Blended Finance Instruments". Even if you missed the first seminar (Blending with Guarantees) you are welcome to register.

The training has limited space to ensure a personal, intensive and practice-driven learning experience. We recommend that no more than 2-3 representatives from each organization attend. Registration is complimentary for members, applying the discount code you received via e-mail. Non-members can register for a fee of $150.
