How Blended Finance is Advancing the Energy Transition

15 Oct 20 -

Alongside this year's Private Investment for Climate Conference, organized by The Green Climate Fund, Convergence is hosting a session on How Blended Finance is Advancing the Energy Transition, Thursday, October 15 at 11:00 am EST.

Energy continues to be one of the most commonly addressed sectors for blended finance transactions. This session will provide participants an understanding of blended finance and how this financing approach is advancing public and private investment in clean and green energy solutions targeting emerging markets.

The session will include a deep-dive into The Development Bank of Southern Africa’s (DBSA) Climate Finance Facility (CFF), presentations from EarthSpark International (GCF investee) and Catalyst MENA Clean Energy Fund 2, along with a panel discussion with guest presenters to assess the future of financing clean and renewable energy through blended finance, moderated by Robert van Zwieten, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific at Convergence.

During the session, participants will be able to ask questions, share their views, comments and feedback with Convergence and guest presenters during Q&A.

Only those registered for the Private Investment Conference can participate in our session, so please register!
