The international development community aligns on the imperative on the mobilisation of private sector investment and expertise in developing countries. Still, seven years into the SDGs and Paris Agreement total investment provided and mobilised is still falling behind expectations.

This CoP-PF4SD Live Talk will give the floor to the actors behind the “Action Plan” launched at the COP27 with the ambition to significantly increase climate and SDG investment using existing financial resources and institutions more effectively that addresses the numerous private sector calls to action. This is taken forward by a group of OECD DAC members, five private investor groups, individual investors and philanthropic foundations.

The webinar will include a presentation of the Action Plan and important perspectives on the need for the Action Plan.
