Blended finance funds have emerged as a critical vehicle for directing private capital toward climate and development priorities in emerging markets. Yet despite growing interest, fund structuring can still be challenging with many efforts slowed by complexity and limited standardization.
Building on the joint BII and BCG report Scaling blended finance, which introduced two practical tools for fund design, the event will feature a panel discussion on real-world fund design challenges with leading investors and mangers. This will be followed by reflections on how BII is applying the tools in practice.
This session is designed for practitioners shaping the blended finance landscape: asset managers, institutional investors, DFIs/MDBs, and impact capital providers.
