Convergence, along with WWF, is hosting a blended finance training for members in Asia, a two-day, in-person convening from March 17-18 in Singapore, designed to advance blended finance collaboration and market-building across Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
The Asia-Pacific faces significant financing gaps across climate mitigation, adaptation, resilience, and nature-positive development. Blended finance has a critical role to play in mobilizing private capital at scale, strengthening market capacity, and enabling innovative investment structures tailored to regional needs.
This regional member event will bring together Convergence members, investors, development finance institutions, philanthropies, insurers, corporates, and ecosystem partners to:
- Share data-driven insights on regional blended finance trends and capital flows
- Deepen understanding of sector-specific opportunities and barriers
- Foster peer learning and capacity building
- Identify collaboration opportunities among members and partners in Asia
