Blended Finance Expected to be Used for Sustainable Finance [Japanese]

Drawing upon Convergence’s State of Blended Finance reports of 2021 and 2022, this Japanese-language report discusses the growing interest in blended finance in Japan, and potential applications of blended finance in underserved sectors and for climate change countermeasures in high-income countries. The report examines the use of blended finance for social finance through the UK’s dormant deposit use model and considers replicability in Japan under the Dormant Deposit Utilization Act of 2016.
