This report provides statistics derived from pooled data going back to 1994, supplied by 15 MDB/DFI member institutions collaborating under the GEMs framework. It highlights insights into the credit and default experiences of these institutions in emerging markets and developing economies, especially regarding sub-investment grade observations, and explains the methodological framework and the various applications of GEMs statistics.
