Flora Ji is Head of Asia and Head of Asset Management at Rubicon Carbon, a portfolio company of TPG’s Rise Climate Fund. She leads the firm’s expansion across Asia and oversees global asset management, building and stewarding a portfolio of high-integrity carbon projects to meet growing customer demand and scale trusted climate solutions.

Flora brings nearly two decades of international experience across energy, carbon markets, and sustainability. Prior to joining Rubicon, she served as Vice President of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) at Shell, where she built and led the company’s global NbS portfolio across multiple continents. She has deep expertise in carbon markets, ecosystem restoration, and structuring cross-sector partnerships to scale climate solutions.

Her work focuses on developing and delivering high-integrity projects in collaboration with governments, financial institutions, corporates, and local partners, generating climate, nature, and community benefits. Flora is a strong advocate for integrating sustainability into core business strategy and building commercially viable carbon solutions that bridge finance, policy, and on-the-ground execution — advancing practical pathways to scale impact across climate, biodiversity, and communities.
