Kamran Khan is Deutsche Bank’s Head of Sustainable Finance for Asia Pacific (APAC), Middle East and Africa (MEA). He heads Deutsche Bank’s ESG Centre of Excellence in Singapore. Mr. Khan is a member of Deutsche Bank’s APAC + MEA Regional Oversight Committee and Group-level Global Sustainability Steering Committee.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Khan founded and managed a private equity impact fund focusing on deployment of emerging technologies to improve the sustainability of infrastructure systems. Previously, he was appointed by the Obama White House to serve as head of global investments and operations at the US Millennium Challenge Corporation. He has also held senior executive roles at the World Bank, the US Agency for International Development, JP Morgan, and LEK Consulting.
Mr. Khan holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business at University of Chicago and an MS in Applied Economics and Master of Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his BS in Economics from George Mason University.
