Joy Teo is an Associate on the Blended Finance Accelerator team at Convergence. Joy has over 8 years of experience in the social investment and entrepreneurship sector, including the impact investment and venture philanthropy space. Prior to Convergence, she led the Biodiversity Accelerator+ programme with impact investor Silverstrand Capital and supported nature tech founders in investment readiness. She was also previously part of AVPN where she engaged with social investors in the strategic deployment of capital for social purpose organizations in the Asia-pacific region. Additionally, she led business development for a social enterprise in Singapore, supporting artisans with disabilities in finding employment opportunities. Joy holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Honours) majoring in Finance, from the National University of Singapore.
