Convergence has added three new members to its Funding Committee. The Funding Committee plays a critical role in Convergence’s Design Funding program, which offers feasibility study and proof of concept grants for practitioners to design catalytic blended finance solutions that aim to attract private capital to sustainable development at scale.

The new Funding Committee Members include: Kaylene Alvarez, Co-Founder of Biduk Indonesia and Founder & CEO of Athena Global Alliance; Fabian Huwyler, Founding Partner of Posaidon Capital; and Jesse Ang, Independent Director at the Bank of the Philippine Islands Capital Corporation. They will join our existing Funding Committee Members: Agnes Dasewicz, Rockefeller Foundation Fellow; and Rick Nogueira, Board Member at the DC Green Finance Authority.

The Funding Committee plays a key role in the success of the Design Funding program, by applying their unique insights and experience to advise Convergence on the evaluation of Design Funding applications.

Convergence has two open windows currently accepting applications: i) the Indo-Pacific Design Funding Window, initially focused on sustainable and resilient infrastructure and funded by the Australian Government, and ii) the Asia Natural Capital Design Funding Window funded by RS Group.
